COURSE OVERVIEW
It’s important for new employees in the fastener industry to gain
expertise in fastener parts, including varying sizes and finishes. This
Fastener Basics course provides training in a small group environment
and offers materials to take back to the job. Students will grow from
novice to knowledgeable!

Who should attend?
Fastener Basics is perfect for those new to the fastener industry, those
who need to know more about the products they sell, as well as
warehouse, sales, and purchasing employees. It also serves as a
prerequisite to attend Fastener Training Week or individual Certified
Fastener Specialist™ courses, for those with less than two years of
fastener experience.
Pricing
General pricing is available for $354. Association members (Pac-West,
NFDA, IFI, MWFA, NCFA and SFA) are eligible for a discounted rate of
$254.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations and requests for refunds must be made in writing no later
than two weeks before the start of class and are subject to a $350
processing fee. Individuals will receive a written confirmation of
cancellation from Fastener Training Institute. All no-shows will be
invoiced for full registration fees. The Fastener Training Institute
reserves the right to change instructors or cancel seminars and cannot
be held responsible for costs incurred other than the registration fee.
