COURSE OVERVIEW
Visit manufacturing, quality lab and processor plants for a behind-the-
scenes experience. This opportunity offers a first-hand look at the
manufacturing and quality management of fastener parts - essential for
advanced fastener understanding – and a highlight for students who
become a Certified Fastener Specialist™.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
One-day CFS classes are best for those wanting to spread out training
rather than completing an accelerated format through Fastener
Training Week. The series of seven CFS classes/plant tours can be
taken in any order.
Given the advanced technical nature of this program, it is highly
recommended that participants have at least two years of experience
in fastener sales, purchasing, manufacturing or quality assurance or
have completed FTI’s three-part Product Training Program, available
through our Online Learning Library.
REGISTRATION FEE INCLUDES
•
A full day of training in a small-group environment
•
Training materials to take back to work
•
Continental breakfast, lunch and refreshments
•
A certificate of completion with eligibility for the Certified
Fastener Specialist™ designation

It’s importance to be able to ask customers, purchasing agents and
vendors the right questions. “We are a more sophisticated operation
when we can speak to those standards and move intelligently in that
space. CFS training helped get us into that process mindset,”
- Caleb Zehnder, CEO/Founder, ZMG Fasteners Plus
